"Recollection"

When looking up the definition of recollection it is defined as the action or faculty of remembering something. Another was a thing recollected; a memory. I then began to think of things that I would like to remember later in my life. Things like how my bedroom looks and how the photos around the house are organized. I then began to look at Duane Michals work for inspiration. He wrote on images like a journal entry. I thought that my images could resemble moment that I could write about in my own journal. When I think of images relating to the word recollection I think of photos albums. Putting my images in a photo album then writing my thoughts on the back of the image is a perfect way to create a memory for my future self. 2019.
