"Scream"

This is a series of portraits of individuals screaming. I wanted this series to be a cathartic experience for the subject. The scream captured is a moment of release for each of them. Each photo shows the emotions that they were releasing in that moment. These are black and white images, so that the viewer can focus on the subject emotion rather than the colors in their face and surroundings. I was inspired by are Joey Helms, and KMR photography. 2021.
